Hey all,

It has been a while since I posted anything decent here,

About 5 days ago I did a nice upgrade to AMD's RDNA 4 GPU the AMD Navi 48 XTX,, the one I went for was the following:
Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT PCI-E 16GB 256Bit GDDR6 Rev.C0 2511

That graphics card have is the one I bought at Megekkko, in the Netherlands aout 5 days ago.

As Navi 48 goes, I was always curious on what it would be like to have one, to explore what RDNA 4 all has in stock as well.
As brands go, I always wanted the Sapphire Nitro+ series of graphics card, just great build quality with grand cooler designs as well, great acoustics etc, and nice ARGB support as well, not everyone lieks RGB, but I do so that too matters with my builds.

Sapphire is like the EVGA for Radeon graphics cards, the same that EVGA was the Sapphire for GeForce graphics cards.

Here the box of the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT:

Here the inner box, this adds a nice detail of Sapphire's classy way of packing their niche products:

Here the graphics card it's self:

Here the final rear angled shot and the last pic revealing the PCB date of this card being 2511, meaning that this card was made in year 2025 during week 11, , due to this the Navi 48 XTX GPU is exactly 1 week older, it's fabrication date is 2010, meaning it was made in year 2025 during week 10, the GPU and PCB always share 1 week difference between both fabrication dates / PCB dates.

Here how I connected the 12HPWR 16 Pin power connector to the 3x 8 pin dongle and that to the SeaSonic Focus GX 850 Gold PSU:

And here how to neatly cover up the power cables thanks to the added magnetic back plate Sapphire provided with this release:

Here the card in the system, the Lian Li TYR PC-X2000B with Lian Li W-X200B Window kit from 2011 still does justice today!

Also note the HDD/SDD backplane, which can support up to 6x 2TB - 4TB HDD's/SSD's in various RAID arrays

Here the cleaned out PSU; a SeaSonic Focus GX 850 Gold, just make sure you wait like 30 mins before doing this, even I waited 3 hours as I wasn't sure of it either, as cleaning the PSU goes I do this every year, the last thing I'd want is a fire being caused by the over piled layers of dust that collected in the PSU over the years...

This thing was a world of light gray before the cleaning treatment, now it's like new again, despite I had iot for about 3 years now. 2nd pic is the first boot and all is running nicely!

And here the final result, I used my tampered glass Cooler Master graphics card support bracket instead of the default Sapphire "L - Bracket", more RGB this way as well!
My Revoltec Cold Cathode Lamps from 2009 still work nicely, they add the nice soft glow to the build, thereby softening the colored light from the LED"s as well.

Here my previous graphics card compared to the new one:

Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Special Edition PCI-E 16GB 256Bit GDDR6 Rev.C1 2207 (1 of 250pcs)
Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT PCI-E 16GB 256Bit GDDR6 Rev.C0 2511

Here all my Sapphire boxes of cards I bought over the years and that I all have mint in box and complete, some of these like the Fury are in one of my systems, the others are in my glass top vitrine coffee table in the living room.

Here the cards in the coffee table:

Here the complete collection of graphics card & Sound card boxes:
