Hoi everyone,

I recently built box 3 PC.

Intel Core i5-14400F processor
MSI GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X 12G OC
MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI moederbord
Corsair DDR5 Vengeance 2x16GB
DeepCool AG400 BK ARGB
Kingston NV3 1TB M.2 SSD
Corsair RM750e V2 PC voeding
Chieftec Apex Air GA-01B-M-OP Behuizing
Win 11 pro

I enabled XMP as suggested in Megekko installation video.

The PC started freezing. I did couple of diagnostics tests like but no error. I disabled the XMP and it did not freeze.

Feeling that XMP is issue, I ran Windows memory diagnostic tests with both XMP on and off. Following are results:

1. XMP off - no hardware issues detected
2. XMP on - hardware errors detected on memory ( screenshots attached)

I read on forum that I can adjust values for XMP manually and it can work. But looking at Windows memory diagnostic test results, I am suspecting hardware problem with my memory.

Any ideas why this is happening or should I replace my memory?

Thanks for your help 🙂

It is essential that you upgrade the bios of the motherboard. That action could fix the freeze problem: CLICK HERE to download and install the upgrade.
Thanks for your response @ArtstudioG . I actually started trouble shooting by checking the bios and found that it is the latest version. Even with latest version bios, I still have this issue when XMP is on.

what memory kit do u have and is it on the QVL list of ur motherboard?

there are expo kits and xmp kits. expo is for amd. xmp is for intel.

if u have like a 6000mhz kit. try to enable xmp and set the memory speed manually to 5800mhz orso and do a stability test again.

hope this helps.....
