Looks great! Happy for you it all ended up well.
I'm planning for a different 5090 but it's pretty much the same dimensions, since your case appears to be about 9mm wider (same for max cpu cooler height) I still think I'll have enough space in the HAF 700 EVO to fit the card horizontally.
I personally am not a huge fan of vertical mounts because it blows most of the heat directly to the motherboard, memory & the NVMe SSDs but aside of the personal preference (and well it differs per case configuration) there isn't really much with PCI-E 5.0 16x risers out there yet and apparently there are some technical difficulties with them on the 50-series which I am not sure if it's just the Founders with the ribbon cables being the culprit or all of them.
My NVMe drives are positioned next to the RAM in a DIMM.2 slot (2x 990 Pro 4TB) which currently always sit between 36-51°C ish, the RAM modules generally don't exceed 60°C in heavy load and that is with pretty modest fanspeeds.
And I've got a 10 year old Corsair AX1200i, bought Type4 600w both angled and non-angled 12v-2x6 600W cables for it (2x-8pins) and I'm just going to see how that plays out in multi-rail mode. The PSU is old but still performs flawlessly, the AXi series platforms by Flextronics were so good that they even today can't find a suitable replacement that is better hence why we still don't see Corsair ATX 3.1 PSUs in the AXi line-up.
Thermal Grizzly Wireview Pro is underway so hopefully once I can acquire a 5090 I can fit that on it with the sidepanel closed, will be kind of tight but it should fit, would be nice to see the current power draw and temps without needing software tools or overlays.
But for now the EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 will have to hold out for a bit longer, sitting at 2025/6003Mhz, extremely solid card it has been for 8 years straight.
